The Punkintown Fair is a family-oriented event that has been run by the New Salem Volunteer Fire Department, 694 New Salem Road in Voorheesville, NY, since 1942. Parking and admission is free. The Fair will start at 6:00pm each night featuring a variety of rides, delicious food and games for all ages.
There will be cash raffle prizes of $2,000 for 1st prize, $1,000 for 2nd prize and $500 for the 3rd prize. Winners will be drawn closer to the close of the Fair on Saturday night (no need to be present to win). There will be additional prizes added to the drawing this year.
All proceeds from the Fair and Raffle will be used to update Fire and rescue equipment to provide services to the residents of the district.
